Respecting the consumer is at the heart of everything Skin’Up does, from designing textiles to advice about how they should be used. This is a natural part of our policy of being a responsible business.
Research & Innovation Laboratory
Skin’Up’s cosmetotextile laboratory is the leader in its field. We have achieved this standing through 15 years of research and development.
In 2018, we opened our new site to help us achieve our development and innovation ambitions. It covers 1000m² in Azay-le-Rideau and is the world’s first cosmetotextile laboratory.
Every single Skin’Up product is designed in France by the company’s own engineers and designers.
Skin’Up is committed to rigorously selecting only the optimal materials. We seek out the best fibres and active cosmetic ingredients and we source what we need in Europe whenever we can.
Commercial development, distribution and exports
In France, Europe and now all around the world, Skin’Up is setting the benchmark for cosmetotextiles and uses an effective, targeted distribution strategy.
Skin’Up is also strengthening its online strategy with help from its partners, and by late summer it will also have improved its online shop, which features more than 500 items from the various brands.
Marketing & communications
Skin’Up is determined to pass on as much information and advice as it can to its customers through pinpointed, transparent and responsible communications.
A mark of Skin’Up’s ethical standing is the way it communicates about its garments’ average performances, as opposed to other makers who only reveal their best results.
